【摘要】:Densityisafundamentalphysicalpropertywhichcanbeusedinconjunctionwithotherpropertiestocharacterizepurehydrocarbonsandtheirmixtures.ThistestmethodwasoriginallydevelopedforthedeterminationofthedensityoftheASTMKnockTestReferenceFuelsn-heptaneandisooctane,withanaccuracyof0.00003g/mL.Althoughitisnolongeremployedextensivelyforthispurpose,thistestmethodisusefulwheneveraccuratedensitiesofpurehydrocarbonsorpetroleumfractionswithboilingpointsbetween90and110x00B0;Carerequired.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthedensityofpurehydrocarbonsorpetroleumdistillatesboilingbetween90and110x00B0;Cthatcanbehandledinanormalfashionasaliquidatthespecifiedtesttemperaturesof20and25x00B0;C.1.2Thistestmethodprovidesacalculationprocedurefortheconversionofdensitytorelativedensity(specificgravity).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarningstatementsaregiveninSection7.
