【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulincharacterizingpitchesandasphaltsasoneelementinestablishinguniformityofshipmentsandsourcesofsupply.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofrelativedensitybywaterdisplacementofhardpitchesandasphaltswithsofteningpointsabove70176C.1.2Therelativedensityofhardpitchandasphaltshallbedetermined,wheneverpossible,onhomogeneousnaturalfragmentsfreeofcracks.Theuseofcastcubesisnotrecommendedduetothedifficultyofavoidingincorporationofairbubbles.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
