【摘要】:ThispartofBS6262givesinformationandrecommendationsforverticalglazingintheexternalwallsandinteriorsofbuildings,withrespecttofiresafety,securityandwindloading.Theserecommendationsapplyonlywhentheglassisinstalledinaglazingsystemspecificallydesignedforthepurpose.Theserecommendationsdonotapplyto:a)patentglazing(seeBS5516-1);b)glassinnon-verticalapplications(seeBS5516-2)c)glazingforcommercialgreenhouses(seeBS5502-21);d)glazingfordomesticgreenhouses.RequirementsforstandardsofworkmanshipforglazinghavebeenpublishedseparatelyasBS8000-7and,therefore,thissubjectisnotdealtwithinthisstandard.
